Second Win of the Season, First at Richmond and 21st of His Career

Carl Edwards finished first at Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond International Raceway… and first in “regular season.” championship points.

Edwards, in his Frosted Flakes No. 99 Ford Fusion, led 46 laps before capturing his second win of the season. Under the stopping power of the Raybestos Racing short track brake package, he also seized the Sprint Cup points lead. Teammate Greg Biffle secured his sixth career Chase entry with a solid run of 12th-place.

After Kyle Busch took the lead… he sped on to victory like he didn’t have a care in the world at the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Busch scored his fourth win of the season and drove his No. 18 M&M’s Toyota to victory lane under the stopping power of Raybestos brakes.
