      • The threads have to line up ptetry much exact to get it brake line to screw in. If it looks a little crooked bend the line just a little and it should start. If there is no room to bend it you can take a box end wrench and put on the nut and bend it putting leverage on the wrench. Good luck.

    • I had a similar prleobm on the front axle of my ’90 ranger. It turned out that the flare on the end of the brake line was wrong. I had a bubble flare and it needed to be a double flare. The bubble flare looks like a bubble on the end of the line while the double flare is flatter. If you still have your old line compare the ends to be sure they are the same.

    • There are a few types of threads for brake lines. I sgugest you compare your original fitting to the new one. There is not much difference,so be careful not to force a wrong fitting into your wheel cylinder or else it may leak. I hope this answers your question.
