The Raybestos Rattlesnake™ 2014 Toyota Tundra is Ready to Strike!

Oct 2, 2013

Raybestos Brakes and Chassis have assembled an automotive dream team in the Phoenix desert to build a venomous off-road monster – the Raybestos Rattlesnake™ 2014 Toyota Tundra.  This desert sidewinder is carefully being hand crafted by Addictive Desert Designs, with help from the boys at Joe Gibbs Racing, TRD, Mickey Thompson, Dick Cepek and it’s finished with a custom wrap created by world famous tattoo artist Corey Miller.

The 2014 Toyota Tundra is Texas-made, and Texas-tough… capable of ripping through severe off-road trails and harsh desert terrain. The Raybestos Rattlesnake™ is being customized by Addictive Dessert Designs and will feature custom bumpers, side steps and chase rack.

Thanks to Toyota Racing Development, a Toyota 5.7-Liter aluminum i-FORCE DOHC 32 valve V-8 with a tuned TRD Supercharger helps the Raybestos Rattlesnake™ reach 600+ hp. It will also include a high-lift off road suspension and off-road shocks.

Its stopping power will come from the same Raybestos short track racing brake package used by the Joe Gibbs Racing team. The Raybestos Rattlesnake™ will stretch its off-road muscle with Raybestos Professional Grade chassis parts.

TRD will also install headers and a full stainless steel muffler exhaust with polished stainless steel tips. “It is going to have a pressurized air intake to allow the engine to breathe a lot better… like an engine twice its size,” said Ted Moncure, the TRD Functional Accessory Engineering Manager.

The Raybestos Rattlesnake™ will also have improved fuel economy and, after Moncure’s team of engineers and technicians get through with it, the 2014 Tundra will have thirty percent more horsepower and twenty five percent more torque.

World-renowned tattoo artist, Corey Miller, will give the signature-edition truck its custom wrap. Miller took his inspiration from a formidable Texas icon… the Texas Rattlesnake. A rattler with the iconic flair of a Corey Miller tattoo will be shown on both sides of the truck, and a signature “Raybestos Flying R” will be emblazoned on the hood.  Miller said, “This truck is going to bear its fangs and scream forward just like a rattler does when it strikes… absolutely shredding it.”

The best part, is that you can win it!  Just enter here for your chance to win this monster of a truck!
